The Mission of Leadership Montezuma is to identify, enlighten and encourage emerging leaders of diverse backgrounds, occupations and cultures for the purpose of enhancing the quality of leadership in the community.
Leadership Montezuma, now in its sixteenth year, is a program designed to expand citizen’s understanding of community resources, organizations and systems. Participants spend one day a month, September through May exploring and discussing regional issues surrounding a variety of topics.
Leadership Montezuma is organized into topic-focused days:

- Tourism Culture
- Health and Human Services
- Criminal Justice
- Education
- Quality of Life
